He was also removed from the post of Principal Secretary of the Energy Department and the responsibility of Chairman-cum-Managing Director of Bihar State Power (Holding) Company Limited was also taken back from him. In his place, 1993 batch IAS officer Sandeep Paundrik was given additional charge of all these responsibilities. Paundrik is already playing the role of Managing Director of Infrastructure Development Authority along with Additional Chief Secretary in the Industry Department. 1997 batch IAS Sanjeev Hans has no responsibility now and he has been attached to the General Administration Department without any role.

When Gulab Yadav did not give social recognition to this relationship for a long time, she was again deceived through talks. This time Gulab Yadav called her to a hotel in another state and established a relationship. This time the woman also had a relationship with IAS Sanjeev Hans. The woman alleged that Sanjeev Hans also raped her there. This case was registered by Patna Police much later and now the allegations of the woman advocate have been proved right in the investigation. When the matter came to light, to keep her mouth shut and change her statement, both of them gave 90 lakh rupees through bank transfer and also gifted a luxury car to the woman. When the money transaction came to light, ED entered the picture. When ED raided Sanjeev Hans’s hideouts and started questioning him, then documents of his benefiting companies while holding government posts and money transaction in return for this were found.
